Dr. Chris Janssen is an assistant professor in experimental psychology at Utrecht University, where he coordinates research and teaching at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction and Psychology. In his research he tries to better understand human interaction in dynamic situations, with a particular focus on human-automation interaction, (automated) driving, and multitasking. Dr Janssen obtained his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from University College London and his MSc in Human-Machine Communication from the University of Groningen. Before joining Utrecht, he has also worked at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute (post-doc), Microsoft Research (intern) and Xerox Parc (intern).
